The Academy memorial scholarship fund was launched in the spring of 2024, with the passing of Ursula Merten, the mother of an Academy student. The Academy offers financial aid to several children each year, so that they can study dance or music with us, or attend our arts-based preschool program.  Donations to the Memorial Scholarship Fund are used by the Academy of Movement and Music to provide tuition discounts and waivers and other forms of assistance to students who have financial need.*
